A hype-to-conversion radar that turns pre-announcement leaks, rumours, and chatter into measurable city-level demand and notify-me waitlists, before ticketing opens.

DropRadar, Pre-Announcement Demand Radar for Live Events

Event platforms (District by Zomato, Swiggy Scenes, BookMyShow) only engage users after events are officially announced. By then, leak-driven hype has already peaked in group chats, news cycles, and social media. DropRadar captures the pre-demand window: leak verification, city-level hype scoring, waitlists ahead of ticket drops, and an EmbargoGuard feed for organisers and sponsors managing leak risk.

The gap

Missed opportunity to capture pre-demand signals before ticketing opens. No waitlists or funnels exist until announcement. Limited visibility for organisers and sponsors on city-level demand. And brand risk from uncontrolled leaks, such as the Bank of Baroda slip that revealed Linkin Park at Lollapalooza India 2026 before the official announcement.

What I built

Rumour Cards with confidence levels (Unconfirmed, Rumoured, Confirmed) and a per-event hype score.

Live Hype Index, upcoming events sorted by demand signal, not by announcement order.

City Heatmap, real-time demand distribution across metros, sized for venue and partner decisions.

Waitlists, one-tap notify-me flow with auto-detected city and optional email or phone.

EmbargoGuard Feed, a public feed of verified leaks that helps organisers and sponsors manage partner risk instead of pretending the leak did not happen.

Who it serves

Fans get included in the hype cycle and notified first. Organisers use pre-demand data for venue sizing and marketing spend. Sponsors track leaks and build trust through verified campaigns. Platforms (District, Swiggy Scenes, BookMyShow) capture hype early and convert it into ticketing funnels they would otherwise miss.

Success metrics

Visitor-to-waitlist conversion ≥ 3%. 60% confirmation accuracy for strongly rumoured events. Tracking 50+ live events across 5 cities. 1,000+ waitlist signups in the first month of launch.
